It will involve multi-tiered planning, use of new generation equipment and joint execution of mission by artillery batteries and combat groups, Army officials said here. Besides matching each other’s capability in artillery fire power, the two armies would also hone up their skills in anti-militancy exercises.

Excercise Bold Kurukshetra is an annual event between Indian and Singaporean armies. Singapore Army sends its armoured divisions to India and practices with Indian Armoured divisions. Singapore lacks facilities to train its forces due to shortage of land mass. This is the 7th Edition of the excercise.

Besides the Army, the Navy and Air Force from both the countries exercise regularly. The excercises have grown in both size and scope.
